How many power stations do I need?

Tell our power calculator what you're planning and it works out how many Jackery Explorer 1000 V2 power stations to hire, what it costs and how long they'll last. For DJs, weddings, camping, glamping, photo shoots and off-grid stays across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and the Borders.

How long does one power station last?
Each one stores 1,070Wh, about 900Wh usable. That's roughly 2 hours for a DJ controller and a pair of PA speakers, or days of phone charging and LED lights.
Can I run a kettle?
A standard 3,000W kettle won't run. A travel kettle under 1,000W will.
Can I hire more than one?
Yes, up to 3. Each appliance must draw 1,500W or less.
How is hire charged?
Per 24 hours from collection. You collect and return in Musselburgh (EH21).
Is it safe indoors?
Yes. It's silent with no fumes, so it's fine in marquees, tents and vans.
